Can I disable the Model Tree Navigation Tab?

Dear 3D expert

Is there a way when you launch a PDF to disable the Model Tree Navigation Tab? We are working on a 3D PDF where we do not want the user of the PDF to have access to the Model Tree, so we are trying to find a way to disable or remove the Model Tree from that 3D PDF.

Answer

If you open the model up in the 3D toolkit you can select all the root level objects, right click and select Tools > Collapse Hierarchy and then save it again. This will effectively give you only one object in the model Tree view and won't divulge the structure of your model.
