eSeminar, discussions explore LiveCycle Designer forms

If you use Adobe’s LiveCycle Designer, the Windows-only forms tool that comes with Acrobat 8 Professional, you’ll want to log in to our free, one-hour eSeminar on March 12 (10 a.m. PDT) titled “Creating Interactive Forms with LiveCycle Designer.” Jim Healy of FormRouter, Inc. will discuss and demonstrate how to create advanced forms with Designer.

This interactive session will cover:

  • Creating or modifying form designs using the Object Library and Layout Editor
  • Adding custom graphics, logos and text
  • Adding predefined custom objects
  • Adding dates, dropdowns, list boxes, check boxes
  • Adding tables with calculations
  • Adding barcodes
  • Using digital signatures
  • Customizing and using templates and fragments
  • Using password protection
  • Creating dynamic fields and flowable layouts
  • Building in compatability

We’ve also organized a number of tutorials and videos related to our topic of the month.

In the forums, another pair of experts—J.P. Terry, author of “Creating Dynamic Forms with Adobe LiveCycle Designer,” and Stephen Cameron, a computer scientist at Adobe--will respond to related user questions between March 12-31.

Register soon for our upcoming eSeminar, and you’ll also be entered for a chance to win a Fujitsu ScanSnap S510M Instant PDF Sheet-Fed Scanner.

Best Regards
~ Kurt, Editor, AcrobatUsers.com
