Good Afternoon All,
I and two other guys have been working this issue for about a month with no success...  Any help or pointers would be appreciated!  My big question is this:  Is there an adobe server-side plug-in/tool for .NET that will handle this?  I've read a bit about Javascript in PDF.  Will that help?

Here is our situation. We have a 2000 nvarchar field in our database, and it contains free text entered by our client. That free text includes HTML anchor tags (i.e. href...)  We then export that field along with other data to a PDF report that is accessed via a web site. We are presently running the .net version of crystal reports to generate the PDF. The client wants to be able to enter anchor tag in the database, and have it display as a hyperlink on the PDF.

When we do this with crystal reports, if we specify the display area in the report as HTML, it does not show the link, as crystal reports only supports limited HTML. If we tell crystal reports the display area is plain text, it displays the html code for the link, and then acrobat reader makes the url clickable (but does not "render" the HTML tag. Our client does not find either of these options acceptable. They are insisting that we display the  hyperlink as blue clickable text in the PDF, as if we would have created a hyperlink manually in acrobat, and just as it appears on an HTML page.
