Help documentation does not tell me how to delete a text watermark that I inserted (and saved) in a pdf document that I scanned in.
I have been scanning original contracts and use the watermark on the copy for my records. Your software does not allow me the option to print the document without the watermark
What can I do? I have numerous files that this affects.
My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 7 / Windows

Hi dkb,
Use the TouchUp Object tool on the Advanced Editing toolbar (View ->Toolbars ->Advanced Editing).
Click on the watermark to select it, Right Click-> Delete.
Hope that helps,

I forgot to add if you are using Acrobat 8 there is a new menu item under Document ->Watermark, where you can add and delete watermarks.
There is a check box option "Show When Printing" when you create a watermark. If you uncheck that the next time you create one it should be visible on screen but not print.

Hello Dimitri, and if you have to do this in a document with a thousand pages? Would you have to do this for each page or is there any way to do this in the whole document?
Best Regards,

Hi Wiler,
If you have Acrobat 8 Pro and added watermarks to all pages in the document you can use Document ->Watermark ->Remove and that should remove all instances of all watermarks on every page.
Hope that helps,
Dimitri

Have a look at this other forum question: http://www.acrobatusers.com/forums/aucb … php?id=434 which addresses similar concerns and _may_ answer the questions raised in this thread.
