Sorry, but we need just a bit more information here. What exactly do you mean by tabs? Are we talking about content on the PDF pages or are you talking about the Panel icons that open in the Navigation panel.
Can you clarify just a little and repost your question?

Ahhhh, okay. This is a little more clear to me.
Unfortunately, you cannot remove a field from the tab order. What you can do is reorder the tabs so the ones you don't want to include in the sequential order of the fields can be placed at the end of the tab list. Click the Select tool so all fields are viewed on the page. Select Forms > Edit Fields > Set Tab Order. Click the last numbered field you see in your document. Then press Option (Mac) or Ctrl (Win) and click the field you want to move to the end of the list. Continue clicking fields to reorder them to follow the last numbered fields. You need to manually handle this reorganization.

I have had this issue with the content on the PDF pages. When I click on Tab Order all of my fields are numbered. I create my tab order but some of the fields that are given tab numbers - I don't want to be included. For example, I don't need an automatically calculated total field to have a tab.
How do I delete these from the Tab Order? Thanks!
