File Open Menu

How can I configure the file open procedure so it defaults to a preferred folder and shows file details.  I never use "My Documents" and wish it would disappear completely, and I do want file details, so I can sort on date.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8 / Windows

Re: File Open Menu

You've discovered one of the aggravations of using Acrobat. Adobe hasn't done anything about changing the default from My Documents to the last viewed folder. You can't do anything in the program ti change it, but submit a feature request to the Adobe Engineers and let's see if we can get this changed in the next version. Go to Help > Online Support > Knowledge Base to submit your feature request.

Re: File Open Menu

I go in and out of Acrobat all day.  This feature wuold make life so much easier and waste loads less time.

Please include the capability to specify
where Acrobat should go when you choose:
FILE > OPEN.
