Field labels

When inserting check boxes or text fields, the label "check box" or "text field" is always there.  Can I disable it?

Re: Field labels

Hi pennywise2891,

I'm pretty sure you are talking about a LiveCycle Designer form, but it is always helpful to state in your question if you are using "LiveCycle" or "Acrobat" forms.  Version being used is also helpful information to provide.

In LiveCycle Designer, click on the Checkbox, go to the Layout tab and you will see an area labeled "Caption."  If you set the caption to none that label will not be shown.

Hope that helps,

Dimitri

Re: Field labels

Need help with problems found in creating forms in Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.  Can field names be generated so that Adobe does not pick up the surrounding words to name the field, but rather assigns each field a number and subsequently numbers each field accordingly as 1,2,3, etc.?  Any advice on how to do this would be appreciated.
