How do I create a link to an attachment in such a way that it will open the native application and the document itself ( e.g. excel sheet and excel)
I can get it to work with other PDF documents but not with attachments that are created in other applications

The end user must have the native application installed on their computer before they can open an attachment.

It will not work even if the native software is installed , I have used the procedure that is described in the Acrobat help section but I can't get a non Pdf document to launch from within acrobat ( ...it does launch if I click it in the attachments section)
