extract pages

i upgraded to adobe reader 8 and i cant find the option how to extract pages from a PDF


My Product Information:
Reader Standard 8 / Windows

Hi chaimstern,

From the menu bar, click Document, then click Extract Pages.

Note: you must have the file opened in Acrobat before this option is available.

Thanks for your quick response however I do not see the option "extract pages" in previews version of acrobat reader the option was available. Any help please
