Alternative to tool tip

I created a form in LifeCycle Designer 8. The pilot group commented that the tool tips are difficult to read - if the cursor slips down the screen, the tool tip for whatever field the cursor happens to be on appears. This caused some confusion. I created buttons and added app.alert script to them. The button only has a ? as the text without any background. This appears to work well except for all the ???? throughout the form that kind of blend in (even though they are a different color) I would like to have a picture instead of the question mark but cannot seem to add the same script to an image field as all the events are greyed out.

Re: Alternative to tool tip

Try using an "Image Field".  There are two types of "Image" or picture elements for LiveCycle documents.  One is static, and the other is an interactive element.  The "Image Field" is the one you want.
