Stamps

Is it possible to create a stamp that contains a fillable field?  I'd like to be able to add a stamp that has a fillable field...then be able to type text in the fillable field.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.1 / Windows

Re: Stamps

Hi sherylj,

Well, yes and no.  Once you place a stamp on the PDF there is no way to have any kind of interactivity (fillable fields) in the stamp.  However, you can create a stamp with fillable fields, enter information or data into the fields, and then stamp the document- the stamp will show the info you entered into the fields, but again is not changeable once you actually place the stamp on the PDF.

An example and explanation can be found in this article at JavaScript Corner-

Hope that helps,
