I am using Acrobat 8 and having problems with the TouchUp Text tool. I've used it before and it's worked fine, but now it will not allow me to add text or spaces. I can backspace/delete the existing text but when I try typing something new, nothing happens. Any ideas?

Is this on only one document or all PDF files? It could be that the particular font used in the text is subsetted, so only a few characters are available. I'm pretty sure that Acrobat won't allow text to be inserted in a subsetted font.
