Add an object to an existing 3Dtoolkit model tree?

How can I add or insert an object or assy to an existing model tree in toolkit? I can delete items and change materials. Hopefully don't have to go back into my CAD apps and redo everything.

Re: Add an object to an existing 3Dtoolkit model tree?

In the 3D Toolkit you can add new nodes to existing models. The simplest way to do this is to drag a file onto the 3D View. You can also Merge new files with an existing open file by using the 'File > Merge File' command. The new model/assembly will be placed in the existing model tree as a new node under the top node. You can them move it where every you want in the model tree.
