Does 8.0 Standard get rid of the "renderable text" problem that shows up in 7.0 Standard when a bates numbered doc is sent through the OCR function?

According to Rick Borstein's blog at:

"Acrobat 8.1 allows OCRing of documents which contain vector elements within margins defined as 20% of the width/height of the page...This fix accomodates almost all Bates numbered PDFs received from the courts."
