I have tried to load Reader 8.1 onto my Windows XP multiple times from both the Internet and CD but continue to get the same message at the end of the installation.
Adobe has encountered a problem and must shut down--Do you want to report the problem to Microsoft.
Thanks for any HELP you may be able to provide?
My Product Information:

Eugene;
I got an email that you had responded but couldn't open the link. Nevertheless, my son tried many, many differnt things over the weekend. What worked is that he loaded Adobe off of the internet and then logged in as the Administrator. For some reason it then worked and has been working fine since without having to do that type of login. STRANGE!!!
