Save As Dialog Box

Please advise me how to disable PDF from opening automatically in IE or Acrobat reader?  I want dialog box to appear everytime which gives me this option.


My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 6 / Windows

Try this.

Open IE and click Tools, Manage Add-ons, select Enable or Disable Add-ons.

Locate the Adobe Reader Add-on and disable it.

I am having the same problem.  I tried locating an add-on in IE7, but the only one I could find was one for Shockwave.  I'm actually trying to solve this issue for a student who is blind.  She needs IE to give her the option to open or save a PDF because of her screen reader software and when it opens in the browser, it can take very long to load (if it is a large file) so it's easier for her to save it to the hard drive.  She is using IE6 and AR8.
