Hello, I'm having problems with the Text Touch up tool in Acrobat Professional 8.0. When I select the tool and then try to highlight text that I want to edit, nothing happens....

You should be able to select the content on the page, unless:
-- the text isn't captured text but an image of the text. In that case, choose Document > OCR Text Recognition > Recognize Text Using OCR.
-- the file has security attached, which prevents changes depending on the settings chosen.

Hi Donna,
Thanks a mil for your response. I know it's been a while, but I couldn't try your suggestion before now. When I select OCR Recognition, I get an error informing me that OCR recognition cannot be performed because the section contains "renderable text". What does that mean? Thanks again. Davor
