Bookmarks and optimizer

Need your help. I need to see the whole pages on the side as "bookmarks" I used to be able to view the entire pages (?)now I have to open by file name (?) but will not show the page itself...
Need this feature very bad, since I am showing this up on the screen and I can scroll down to the page I need.

*P.S. Also, I need to reduce the file size, I have standard Adobe Acrobat 8.0? Please advise.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Bookmarks and optimizer

Hi erikah,

To view thumbnails of the entire page, open the Pages Navigation pane. Under the Options pull-down, you can create thumbnails for the pages if they're not already there and you can reduce the size of the thumbnails so that you can see the entire pages.

The PDF Optimizer is part of Acrobat Pro. but you can reduce filesize in Standard by simply doing a Save As. This rewrites the entire PDF as opposed to Save which just appends the changes.

Hope this helps,
Lori
