Acrobat edit mode cluttered with buttons

I have a file with previews for about 30 items. In edit mode, all of these buttons are displayed at the same time. If I want to change one of the lower layer buttons, I have to move around the other buttons first. How can I get around this? (The file should be easy to edit and expand for future users, so the cluttered look in edit mode is a problem.)

Re: Acrobat edit mode cluttered with buttons

Hi --

When you are in Edit mode, all the inserted fields are displayed, as you discovered. There is no practical way to shut off fields from Editing, which would negate the point of the Edit vs Preview modes. A form displaying its fields often looks cluttered, but I think the average user can make their way around the page.
