Security settings

I have livecycle designer 8 and wonder if i can set the security in an form so that nobody can change the layout of the form but they can read, copy, and add text and so on. I allso whant to be able to index all the content in the forms after people have sended me the so no cryptation.

Hi Mareng,

Under the File menu select the Form Properties dialog box. Here you can set the PDF security options in the PDF Security tab to restrict access to certain capabilities. I would suggest setting the Changes Allowed to "Filling in Form Fields and Signing".
Also, be sure to Reader-enable your form in Acrobat so that individuals that fill out our form in Reader can save the form with the data.
