AcroPDF.ocx - hiding of printing

Hallo,
I have installed adobe reader 8.0 and I have referenced „AcroPDF.ocx“ in my VB6 project. I need to hide or disable printing buttons. I can hide toolbar by this instraction „AcroPDF1.setShowToolbar False“ but there is still possibility to print document by „CTRL+P“ or right-click menu and by options toolbar. Is it possible to hide these functions?
Thank you for answer.
Best regards

Re: AcroPDF.ocx - hiding of printing

Hi Jazvec,

If you want to disallow printing of your PDFs I would suggest using Password Security in Acrobat. Advanced --> Security --> Show Security Properties.

Hope this helps,
Lori
