We are trying to get a shared WebDAV review going with Macs and PCs. Our vendor has made a ASP.NET web application, but the WebDAV part is failing when I'm using a Mac instead of a Windows PC.
I've looked through the online collaboration PDF, and it's clarified things, but I still can't get the WebDav server to properly recognize and save FDF comments from the Mac users.
I think it has to do with the SSL (HTTPS) protocol and the hashing, but even if I can see the original document, I can never make comments. I always get the "server is unavailable" thing.
I can get to the individual PDF and FDF files in their respective directories, but WebDAV isn't working with Macs through the SSL setup.
I was able to upload a blank PDF into the WebDAV directory I'm targeting, so permissions seem to be OK.
Any help finding out where Acrobat 8 (and 7) Professional is not working? I hate the implication that Macs are just toys in a 'real' application, so this frustrates the heck out of me.

Hi Darryl,
Can you provide more background on your environment? What operating systems are you using for your Windows and Mac clients? Are you accessing the shared review with a browser? What do the server's error log files indicate?
Keep us posted,
Lori

Any news on this? I am having a similar issue, and I can give details, unless there is already a solution. Thanks.
