PDF libraries

I received a file from a customer which when opened in Acrobat 8.1, file properties, creator says it was PDFXC Library (version 2.5).  Can you tell me which software created this and are there any known problems with there files in the printing industry?

My Product Information:

Re: PDF libraries

Hi rewinkeb,

There are numerous third party tools that are used to create PDF and it's difficult to determine what one created the file you mention. Unfortunately the name doesn't provide much application detail. However, you can use the Pre-flight tools in Acrobat Pro. to determine if the files could cause any printing problems. There are Pre-flight profiles that can provide detailed analysis of the file for you prior to printing, which should help you correct potential printing issues.

Hope this helps,
Lori
