Editing Word after it is a PDF

Is there any way to create a PDF from Word and then access the Word document from within the new PDF to edit its content.

Re: Editing Word after it is a PDF

Might be easier to help if you let us know what the problem you are trying to solve is....

But anyway..

You can't "edit" the Word document in Word from the new PDF.

You can do minor touch-ups to the PDF created from Word that don't involve major changes....such as fixing spelling; punctuation, minor word replacments.

You can fix the page in Word, print a PDF of that page only, and replace a page within your existing PDF with the correct page.

If those answers don't help; see if you can tell us more about the problem.

Re: Editing Word after it is a PDF

Hi,

You have a couple of options:

1. Use the Touch_up Text tool (Tools: Advanced Editing: Touch-Up Text to make very minor edits. Acrobat will not flow text in a paragraph.

2. If the file came from Word, you can export a Word file from the PDF file. (File: Export: Word). Re-edit it, and regenrate the PDF file.

However, the conversion from Word to PDF and back isn't perfect. If you need to send a copy of the file for editing purposes, then attach the original Word file to the PDF using the Attachment pane at the bottom of the dopcument window (it looks like a paper clip).
