White lines

We are having an issue with thin white lines appearing on Acrobat pdfs, they seem to disappear when you zoom in and do not print. They do not display when we turn off smooth line art in the preferences, but this makes the appearance of out pdfs unacceptable for our clients. We can also create high res pdfs where the lines do not show, but our clients require flattened pdfs so they look correct on screen regardless if overprint preview is on or off. We are making postscripts from Illustrator CS2, hope you can help, thanks

Re: White lines

The only way you can get this to work is to provide them with a rendered / ripped PDF file.

Otherwise as things stand, they will need to indeed either turn off the smoothing option or turn on the overprint preview ...
