How to get rid of email link

PLEASE HELP!
I created a document in InDesign CS2, and it has an email address. When I save the document as a pdf, the email address  becomes a link -where, if I click on it -it opens the email application. How do I get rid of that function without removing the email address text??!!
-THANK YOU!

My Product Information:

Re: How to get rid of email link

Set the properties on the email address to text only before converting to PDF or:

Go to the Trust Manager option (Edit, Preferences).

Scroll to and un-check the option titled -Allow External Content.

This option allows Acrobat to read data from stream objects in a PDF. Stream objects are URLs or file specifications identified by flags, as specified in PDF Reference Version Fifth Edition: Adobe Portable Document Format Version 1.6.
