Hi, my Adobe Updater always fails to find an internet connection when I am at work. It is probably because I am behind a firewall and use a proxy server. Where can I update the settings within the updater so that it can get behind my firewall and proxy server?
Thanks, David

Unfortunately the updater does not provide any mechanism to support a proxy server. Only the Activation component.
To get around this you need to manually download and install the patches.

Thanks for the reply. That is a shame as I do most of my work behind the firewall and proxy server.

Thinking in broader terms - you can disable the automatic update mechanism if you have Admin rights on your workstation. Edit | Preferences --> General | Updates (panel) and select 'Do not automatically check for critical updates'
Our corporate build has this disabled as I want to make sure all updates are tested in our environment before being deployed.
While not ideal, maybe an appropriate workaround.

This was successful for me as well, however, I am still getting prompts that Adobe Updater needs attention when no new updates are available to download.
