Chang default appearance for "replace text" tool

I'm having trouble changing the default appearance for the "replace text" editing tool ONLY. I can change the default appearance for all other editing tools (highlight, underline, etc.) easily by right-clicking and selecting "make default" but the replace boxes don't have a make default option when I right-click them.

Also, there is no option in the menu on the pop-up box, nor when I select it on the toolbar. Very strange.

Is there another way to change the default color for this tool?

I'm using Acrobat 8.1 time-limited fully functional demo version on Win XP.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Chang default appearance for "replace text" tool

Hi Luke,

Unfortunately there is not a way to change the default appearance for this particular comment tool -- very odd. My suggestion would be to make a request for this functionality at:

Thanks,
