Facing pages in full screen across dual monitors

How do I view an Acrobat document in full screen mode AND facing page layout? I have a dual monitor kiosk with two LCD panels rotated to portrait orientation - I would like the document to display each facing page full screen on its own monitor (document is about 300 pages long). I'd like to go full-screen so I can hide all screen elements except page navigation. I have Acrobat Pro 7, the kiosk will run Reader 7.0.9.

Re: Facing pages in full screen across dual monitors

Hi nicksd,

There is a preference that you can set for full screen startup. Edit --> Preferences--> Full Screen panel. Make sure the check box for "Fill screen with one page at a time" is not selected so that you can show facing pages.

Hope this helps,
Lori

Re: Facing pages in full screen across dual monitors

Lori,

I tried your Edit --> Preferences --> Full Screen Panel but there doesn't appear to be anything there about 'facing pages'.

The only options I can see are (Under the category 'Full Screen'):

-[ Full Screen Navigation ]-
[ ] Advance every N seconds
[ ] Loop after last page
[ ] Escape key exist
[ ] Left click to go forward one page; right click to go back one page
[ ] Show navigation bar

-[Full Screen Appearance]-
[ ] Ignore all transitions
Default transition [...]
Mouse cursor [...]
Background: [ ]

I don't see an option like 'Fill screen with one page at a time' as such, and certainly nothing about facing pages.

Regards,
Paul.

Re: Facing pages in full screen across dual monitors

Is there a way to open documents and merge them or open one on one monitor and another on a second monitor and copy and paste interactive form fields?

Re: Facing pages in full screen across dual monitors

I believe I have a similar problem. I have 2 monitors that I am attempting to span the same full screen document. I have tried creating a new instance of acrobat but have since abandoned that method because the timing doesn't work well.

Is there a way to have 1 full screen (facing page document) display on 2 monitors without the monitors showng the same content?
