Hi,

I have protected my Acrobat Files using a visible watermark that is set "not to print" using Acrobat v6Pro using encryption accessible by Acrobat V5 and later.

All is fine in XP, watermark is visible and as soon as you click Print Preview the watermark disappears and the document prints perfectly.

However, I sent the document to a friend using a MAC and the watermark prints.

Why is this, what can I check?

Hi simonwar,

There are a few different ways to create a watermark -- can you provide background on how you created this watermark? If you navigate the the Content View Navigation Panel do you see a print icon next to the object?
What password security do you have set for the document? Have you tried setting the password security compatibility to Acrobat 6?
