Acrobat 3d

Hello,

I am using Acrobat 3D and attempting to create a model from my GIS Software.  Everytime I try to drape my Aerial Photography over a terrain model, in Acrobat 3D my terrain model is correct but the imagery is on a flat plane on a lower z value.  How can I fix this?

Thanks,

Re: Acrobat 3d

You will need to use the 3D Toolkit to map the aerial image onto the 3D surface as a texture map. First you will need to use the 3D Toolkit's capabilit to create UV texture coordinates on the 3D model and then to apply the texture. Check the help files in the 3D toolkit to learn how to control how the UV mapping stretches or tiles the image onto the 3D surface.

Alternatively there is a plug-in from TerraGo Technologies that addresses this workflow very elegantly with a plug-in called Map2PDF for Acrobat 3D and the Reader.
