Hello,
we are using Adobe Acrobat standard 7. We want to protect some sheets to prevent user to print, save and so on.
When we activate password security and prevent copying, saving. Options are correctly put in grey, but not the save as option, then users are stilla ble to save the doc. It causes us big troubles to prevent save but not prevent save as.
Is there any solution to prevent both save and save as option?
thanks in advance

This question gets asked quite a bit and Dimitri has a great answer in this post:

Hi,
Thanks for your answer but,
In security feature include in Adobe Standard 7.0.9, we are able to prevent saving, wich is working correctly and match our needs.
The "save option" become grey and then prevent the next user to save the file unless he write the correct password on the document.
But, the "save as..." option is not turn grey, so a user is still able to save as...
So my question was, why the "save" options is grey and note the "save as..."
Is this normal? or should i use an external program to just prevent saving on this document.
Thanks again,
Slentz
