PDF package vs. Security envelope

What are the differences between PDF package and security envelope?

Hi cjulee,

Security envelopes let you attach any file of any type to them so that only people with the password you apply to it can open and view the attachments.  A good explanation of this is provided here-

A PDF Package allows other file types to be attached to it also, but does not "require" security to be applied, while security is the whole idea behind the security envelope.

I believe that is the "main" difference and a security envelope is itself a PDF package.
