Updating a PDF from a Word document

I have converted a word 2003 doc to PDF and created unique links in the PDF. How do I update/edit the document and preserve the links I have created. I tried exporting back to word for editing, but the exported word file does not have many of the features that the PDF or the original word document had such as: text alignment, font size, borders etc. How can I edit/update/refresh the document and still preserve all of the links I have created. Using Acrobat 8.1 standard and office 2003.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 8.1 / Windows

Re: Updating a PDF from a Word document

Make your changes in the Word document and convert it to a new PDF. Then open the PDF with the links and replace the pages with the pages in the new PDF. To replace pages select the pages, right click, select replace pages, and then browse to the PDF with the new edits.
