In the 3D toolkit most of the textures do not show up when applied to objects. Is this a universal problem.

When you are in the 3D tool kit you have to map the UV isolines sometimes. To do this you open you file in 3D Toolkit, then go to VIEW|Controls and Toolbars|UV Mapping, this will bring up a toolbar and you would select the first one Map and Pack, this could take a bit of time based on the model size.
