Is it possible to disable the prescan using Acrobat 7.0 and 8.0 Standard, with a Canon DR-5020 scanner? I'm running Windows XP, and I don't have the prescan window when I scan in other software.

Hi --
No you can't disable the prescan. It's part of the conversion process required by Acrobat to prepare the file for conversion to PDF.
