Acrobat 7.0 Professional does not recognize/index some numbers in a pdf document when I apply the "Recognize Text using OCR" function. Any suggestions?

The OCR in Acrobat 8 Pro is much better than 7. That might solve your problem. I OCR a whole lot and always swore by 7, but was amazed by how much better 8 did in side by side tests.

My IT Dept happened to have a copy of Acrobat 8 and - it worked! The 8.0 OCR recognizes the numbers that 7.0 didn't. Thank you so much.
