Convert PDF tables to Excel

I used to use a plug-in on the free Adobe Reader called "Aerial." It converts complex tables from PDF to Excel. It is no longer available. Anyone know of good way to convert PDF files to Excel?

Re: Convert PDF tables to Excel

Hi m_navas,

You can do this in Acrobat 8 by selecting the table using the Select text tool and then right mouse click and select one of these options:
- Copy as Table
- Save as Table
- Open in Table in Spreadsheet

Hope this helps,
Lori

Re: Convert PDF tables to Excel

The formatting is always poor when I use those methods.  Lots of times catalogs have merged cells and those never convert properly.  Any other way of converting that reads Acrobat a little better?
