VISTA

Tom Carson, From eli, thanx for the response.  Have reloaded thrice.  Get a "missing PDF maker files" message when I try anything.  Proceeding accomplishes nothing.  This is a new copy of Acrobat 8 Pro.  ??

Re: VISTA

Hi eli,
Try this.
Check the control Panel to see if the PDF printer is installed. If not, run the Repair Acrobat Installation from the Help menu and download all updates.

Make sure you have only one copy of Acrobat installed on your computer.

Did you run the installation in Vista as the Administrator?

Go to http://www.adobe.com/support/acrobat/ and type in keyword - Vista installation
