Hiding Documents after a certain time period

Dear Group:

I am trying make an Acrobat Document protected with respect to to a "time sensitive environment". That is, I want to make it unaccessible after a certain period of time. This is similar to many documents (such as engineering standards" that I can download from libraries.

Thanks for any hints.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8 / Windows

Re: Hiding Documents after a certain time period

Follow this link:

http://www.acumentraining.com/AcumenJournal.html

Scroll down the list and find the Sept and Nov 2004 tips titled "Nagware" - parts 1 & 2. Download these 2 zip files and read the instructions.

Of course, the codes were written for Acrobat but can be modified for LiveCycle if you have the Acrobat to LiveCycle JavaScript conversion manual from Adobe.

Re: Hiding Documents after a certain time period

Hi Chris1001,

I would also recommend reviewing Adobe LiveCycle Rights Management ES if you're looking for a solution that can tie into enterprise systems (i.e.,  authentication servers, web apps, etc.) for expiring time-sensitive information. For further details visit the following URL:
http://www.adobe.com/products/livecycle … anagement/

Hope this helps,
Lori
