Print quality problem

I recently upgraded to v8 Pro.  PDF documents that clients are sending via email do not print correctly.  All print with heavy grey "shadowing" behind text/objects, making printouts unreadable.  Is there a setting I'm overlooking?  I use Windows XP Pro SP2 and an HP Deskjet 9650.

Re: Print quality problem

Hi Barbie,

First, you can try updating to Acrobat 8.1 to see if this fixes the problem. If not, see if you experience the same problems with other PDF documents? Are you seeing these shadows on screen in Acrobat?
Next, double check the Advanced setting in the Print dialog. Make sure the Simulate Overprinting is not selected.

Keep us posted,
Lori
