Acrobat

We have a Word file that includes a table with columns in various shades of blue and black rules (.5 point)separating the rows and columns. When we convert the Word file to PDF, the lines print correctly; however, when viewed online, the lines don't display consistently.  Any suggestions?

Re: Acrobat

Hi

You have not mentioned your operating system but I will assume Windows.

If you re-generate the PDF from Word by selecting the 'Convert to PDF' option from the 'Adobe PDF' menu in Word you might experience better conversion. Only that by using the 'PDF Maker' (the underlying technology) you can obtain a more structured PDF file.

If you use the 'Print' command and select the 'Adobe PDF' printer, the file is converted into postscript which does not hold document structure and might be the problem?

Hope this helps,

Jon

Re: Acrobat

Hi Jon,
Thanks for responding to my question.  I have been using the Convert to PDF option on the Adobe PDF menu.  Can you think of anything else that might correct the problem.  Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
