Signature (Custom Stamp)

I have a custom stamp (signature)and when I choose it to sign a document it is rotated. I have other signatures that are normal and horizontal as you would sign it. Any ideas?

Re: Signature (Custom Stamp)

The document may have been transposed during PDF creation. Transposing documents is common for prepress and printing from programs like QuarkXPress in order to save paper on roll fed machines. You can check the document creator by examining the Document Properties (Control/Command + D).

When the files are transposed, the 0,0 coordinates appear other than the lower left corner of the page. Even though you can read the document correctly, the items such as Stamp comments you add to the file are using coordinates other than a standard landscape PDF.

The only way to correct the problem is to avoid transposing the document during PDF creation.

Re: Signature (Custom Stamp)

Excellent that was correct. It was scanned sideways. It must be scanned correctly and cannot be rotated.
