German Voice?

Gibt es eine deutsche Sprachausgabedatei für den Reader, um interaktive Formulare vorlesen zu lassen?
Is there any german vocie wich can read german interactive pdf´s to the user? And if so, how could the user get and install it? I will need this for Users with bad eyes.

Re: German Voice?

Hi Einauge,

The Read Out Loud function in Acrobat and Reader is simply an interface we provide to the resident TTS (Text to Speech) on Windows. The URL for this is at: http://www.microsoft.com/reader/develop … s/tts.mspx.
The Microsoft Reader must be installed for Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader's read out loud to work. Once installed, the user will be able to point Adobe's Read Out Loud to German by selecting one of the German voices.

The preference can be set in Acrobat under following:
Edit > Preferences > Reading Category

Hope this helps,
Lori
