PDF print quality level

How can a check the print quality level and make sure that fonts are embedded before sending my PDF to the printer?

Acrobat Pro 6 / Macintosh

Hi Wordcraft,

What version of Acrobat do you have?  If you have Professional you can run Preflight on the PDF and get a report of any unembedded fonts and their locations.  With the PDF open go to Advanced -> Preflight, select "List Fonts Using Non-Embedded Fonts" and click Execute.  A list of all instances in the file with unembedded fonts will be generated.

Or just to do a quick check on all fonts used in the PDF you can go to File -> Document Properties and look under the Fonts tab to see a listing of all fonts in the PDF and whehter they are umbedded or not.
