Powerpoint file converted in PDF with Acrobat Standard 7

Acrobat Standard 7
When I convert a Powerpoint file (office 2000) to PDF through the PDF maker buttons, the resulting PDF file is in full black & white and Powerpoint animations are lost, even if the "save animations in Adobe PDF" is checked and settings for color management are "correctly" (to my knowledge) set in the "change conversion setting" window.
Could you tell me what's wrong?
Thank you

Strange as this sounds, check to make sure that your Adobe PDF printer is set to Color - not B&W (right click on the printer, select properties) and do some digging.

Also, In PowerPoint, check to see how you have the document's printing options set.  If they are set to Grayscale - a misnomer - your document will come out more B&W than gray.

As for the animations - If memory serves me right, animations wouldn't make it to the other side until Office XP.
