Adobe 3D - Animation

I need some help with animations.

I have created an keyframe animation of one of our products. Within this animation there is a flashing indicator light which has been created by changing the material emissive properties using keyframe editing. The flashing indicator works nicely when I run the animation in toolkit but doesn't when I open the file in Adobe 3D. Can you help?

Also can this animation be imported into a powerpoint presentation?

My Product Information:
Acrobat 3D 7 / Windows

Re: Adobe 3D - Animation

There are some gaps in animation support between the Toolkit and the PDF clients; the toolkit supports a much wider set of capabilities for animation and most of them are currently ignored by the Adobe PDF clients (Acrobat 3D/Pro/Std, and Adobe Reader). The following animation types are the only ones supported in the PDF clients:

1) Geometry position (pan, rotate, scale)
2) Geometry Transparency
3) Camera Position, Target

You can do more by using the 3D Javascript APIs including turning material properties on/off.

You can find information on building 3D Javascripts for Acrobat 3D here.

This tutorial on the 3D Tooklit may also be helpful, link
