Creating PDF from webpage: problems with umlauts and accents

Hi there,

I'm trying to create a PDF with acrobat 6.0 standard from part of my website which is held in English, German and French. While the English part is copied without a problem, Acrobat stumbles over most German umlauts and French accents, rendering the corresponding characters as dots.

Is there any solution with my English Acrobat version?

Regards,
Fabian

Re: Creating PDF from webpage: problems with umlauts and accents

Hi Fabian,

Have you tried modifying the encoding setting for the HTML pages? You can do this under the Web Conversion Setting menu. When the HTML file type is selected, select the Settings button. At this point you should see a Fonts and Encoding tab.

Hope this helps,
Lori
