I am currently a technical writer for a statistical visualization product, JMP, at SAS Institute.

How I Use Acrobat

I use PDF for documentation deliverables in both print and online format and for online review. I also use Acrobat forms less extensively. I use PDFMarks (and TimeSavers from Microtype) to add extra punch to PDFs by placing markers in the FrameMaker source files.

My Skills

My primary tools are Adobe FrameMaker and Adobe Acrobat, as well as numerous tools for creating screenshots and high-quality graphics. I use InDesign for newsletters and other highly graphical deliverables, but not for user manuals.
