About me
I am married to a wonderful buy named Billy and we live in Cincinnati, OH with our two cats and zero kids. We are both project managers for large technology companies, although I work in Quality and Risk and he is an IT Security expert. (Professional anti-hacker!) We're HUGE hockey fans and go to as many Columbus Blue Jackets games as we can. We were married at a Cincinnati Cyclones game in 2003. We are also members of the Central Ohio LEGO Train Club and spend much of our free time building custom LEGO creations to include in the club's impressive LEGO city layouts.
I am a big fan of music and have been listening to a lot of ska lately, specifically the Reel Big Fish.
I bought a new camera recently (a Nikon D80 SLR 10.2 mega pixel digital camera) that I am hoping to play around with, too! More hobbies! Who has time?
How I Use Acrobat
Right now (literally, as I am sitting here) I am converting PowerPoint presentations so I can upload them to Kinko's for a rush print job. I couldn't get the PowerPoint files themselves up, and PDF files let me control how the final product ends up looking! I know the binders will now end up in "handout 2-up" format, and not single slides per page! :)
I do a lot of conversion of Microsoft formats into PDF, since almost everyone can read a PDF file.
I also "print" a lot of files directly into PDF, thus saving paper.
I would love to use more of the workflow features of Acrobat, but I'm the only one on my project currently using it, so it wouldn't do me much good!
